16 January, 2563\/2020, CHIANGMAI: Phra Sophonvachirabhorn (Sawai), Vice Rector for Foreign Affairs of MCU is together with Director, Dhammaduta College, administers, lecturers, members of Oversea Dhammaduta Bhikkhus, International Relations Division and staff of Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University and devotees to make merit to \u00a0Most Venerable Phra Brahmamongkol (Luang Pu Tong Sirimangalo) at Wat Phradhatu Sri Chom Tong Voravihara, Chiang Mai province, Thailand.<\/h3>\n

Most Venerable Phra Brahmamongkol (Luang Pu Tong Sirimangalo) passed away on 14 December, 2019 at 96 years of age. He was the meditation master, who was well known around the country as well as abroad.<\/h3>\n

He had made good relationship, exchanged Buddhist education and meditation. The Most Venerable had cooperated and supported for the Buddhist activities with Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University (MCU) for many years. We recognized that the Most Venerable had made great efforts to promote and preserve Buddhism not only in Thailand but also all over the world.<\/h3>\n

Even though the Most Venerable left us, he always remains alive in our minds through the teaching words he taught to us, the caring deeds he did for us, the lesson that he taught us, and the example that he was to us. Most Venerable will be born in the Nirvana.<\/h3>\n
