30 September, 2563\/2020 at 13:00-16:00 U.S. Embassy Bangkok: Phra Sophonvachirabhorn (Sawai Chotiko), Vice Rector for Foreign Affairs, has assigned Dr. Phra Seng Hurng Narindo, Assistant to the Rector for Foreign Affairs, who is a presentative to join a roundtable dialogue of sharing perspectives on religious freedom. The roundtable taken place is at U.S. Embassy, Wireless Road, Patumwan, Bangkok.<\/h3>\n

The roundtable dialogue commemorates the 142nd<\/sup> anniversary of King Rama V\u2019s issuance of the Edict of Religious Toleration in 1878. In recognition of this important historical event, U.S Embassy is to provide a forum and invited prominent representatives from Thailand\u2019s five recognized religions as Buddhism, Islam, Christianity, Brahmin-Hinduism, and Sikhism. They are to join the dialogue on perspectives expanding freedom of religion and inter-religious harmony in the present day.<\/h3>\n
