On Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at 3:00 PM, Most Ven. Prof. Dr. Phra Brahmawatcharatheeracharn, Rector of Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University (MCU), presided over the first board meeting of the year for the Bharat Studies Center at MCU, held at the meeting room of the Dhammaduta College and the Department of International Relations Division in Ayutthaya.<\/div>\n

Several significant agenda items were discussed during the meeting, including: (1) renovations to the Bharat Studies Center office, (2) the official opening ceremony of the Bharat Studies Center, (3) sending MCU personnel for further studies in India, (4) the draft regulations for the Bharat Studies Center Development Fund, (5) opening a bank account for the fund, (6) a meeting of MCU\u2019s Indian alumni, and (7) an international academic conference on Buddhism and Hinduism for Peace.<\/div>\n

Ashok Wangdi, the First Secretary of the Consular Section at the Embassy of India in Bangkok; Phra Khrusu Tharatna Bandhit, Director of the Dhammaduta College; Phra Maha Kosol Theerapanyo, Director of the International Relations Division; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chirapat Prapandvidya; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sombat Mangmeesukhsiri; and Assoc.
