On Sunday, December 29, 2024, at 7:00 a.m., Venerable Phramaha Surasak Paccantaseno, Assistant Abbot of Wat Rajsitharam and Vice-Rector for Foreign Affairs, MCU, presided over the \u201cSangha Welfare Project: Dhammaduta Assists the People\u201d by distributing rice and blankets to the people of Wat Rajsitharam at Katha 4, Wat Rajsitharam Ratchaworawihan, Bangkok.<\/div>\n

On this occasion, Most Venerable Master Shi Jianyun, the Abbot of the Great Buddha Monastery, a branch of the Chung Tai Chan Monastery in Bangkok, along with Venerable Phakru Sutratthanabandit, Director of the Dhammaduta College; Venerable Phakru Khosaphiwat, Abbot of Wat Rakhang Japan; Venerable Mahachumpol Chutipanyo, Abbot of Wat Na Khuean, Chonburi; and the executive team, faculty members, and staff from the Dhammaduta College and International Relations Division, MCU, joined in offering their support and acted as hosts for the event.<\/div>\n

The Dhammaduta College and International Relations Division, in collaboration with Wat Rajsitharam, Chung Tai Chan Monastery, Wat Rakhang Japan, and Wat Na Khuean, Chonburi, organized the \u201cSangha Welfare Project: Dhammaduta Assists the People\u201d by distributing rice, blankets, and Yantra Amulets of the Tripitaka to 300 households in the community of Wat Rajsitharam. This event was held to offer blessings to the community of Wat Rajsitharam in the auspicious occasion of welcoming the New Year 2025 and bidding farewell to the old year, 2024.<\/div>\n
