On Friday, December 6, 2024, at 3:30 PM, under the directive of Most Ven. Prof. Dr. Phra Brahmawatcharatheeracharn, Rector of Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University (MCU), Venerable Phramaha Surasak Paccantaseno, Vice Rector for Foreign Affairs, extended an official welcome to Most Venerable Master Yin Sun, Vice President of the Buddhist Association of the People’s Republic of China, along with the delegation representing the Chinese Government, at the 48th Anniversary Auditorium Hall, MCU, Ayutthaya.
The Vice President of the Sangha of the People’s Republic of China, acting as the official representative of the Chinese Government, brought the Sacred Relics of the Buddha for temporary enshrinement at the ceremonial grounds of Sanam Luang. This auspicious event was held to honor His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn on the occasion of His Majesty’s 72nd Birthday Anniversary (The 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary) on July 28, 2024.
On this occasion, Venerable Phramaha Surasak Paccantaseno, Vice Rector for Foreign Affairs, invited the Vice President of the Sangha of the People’s Republic of China to observe the rehearsal ceremony for MCU’s graduation ceremony inside the 48th Anniversary Auditorium Hall.
The event was honored by the presence of Assistant Professor Dr. Boonmee Phansa, Assistant to the Rector for Foreign Affairs; Venerable Phrakhru Sutarattanabundit, Director of the Dhammaduta College; and Venerable Dr. Phramaha Kosol Therapanyo, Director of the International Relations Division, who joined to extend their welcome and celebrate this important occasion.
