วันพฤหัสบดีที่ ๙ มกราคม พ.ศ.๒๕๖๘ เวลา ๐๙.๓๐ น. พระมหาสุรศักดิ์ ปจฺจนฺตเสโน รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายกิจการต่างประเทศ และพระครูสุตรัตนบัณฑิต ผู้อำนวยการวิทยาลัยพระธรรมทูต ถวายการปฏิสันถาร คณะภิกษุสงฆ์และภิกษุณีสงฆ์จากวัดจงไถซาน สาธารณรัฐจีน (The Sangha of Chong Tai Chan Monastery, Republic of China) ณ ห้องประชุมวิทยาลัยพระธรรมทูตและกองวิเทศสัมพันธ์ มจร พระนครศรีอยุธยา
มหาวิทยาลัยมหาจุฬาลงกรณราชวิทยาลัยและวัดจงไถซาน ได้เจริญสัมพันธไมตรีต่อกันมาเป็นเวลาช้านาน โดยลงนามบันทึกข้อตกลงความร่วมมือ (MoU) กัน เมื่อวันที่ ๒๙ พฤศจิกายน ๒๕๖๕ นับจากนั้น มจร และวัดจงไถซาน ได้ร่วมกันทำงานส่งเสริมการศึกษา การเผยแผ่พระพุทธศาสนาและการทำนุบำรุงพระพุทธศาสนามาตามลำดับ
โอกาสนี้ คณะภิกษุสงฆ์และภิกษุณีสงฆ์ได้สนทนาแลกเปลี่ยนและสอบถามเรื่องการศึกษาพระพุทธศาสนาและวิปัสสนากรรมฐาน ณ มจร โดยสนใจศึกษาและปฏิบัติวิปัสสนากรรมฐาน พร้อมกับอาราธนารองอธิการบดีฝ่ายกิจการต่างประเทศ เดินทางเยือนวัดจงไถซาน เพื่อกระชับสัมพันธไมตรีให้แน่นแฟ้นสืบไปฯ
On Thursday, January 9, 2025, at 9:30 a.m., Venerable Phramaha Surasak Paccantaseno, Vice-Rector for Foreign Affairs, together with Venerable Phrakhru Sutharattanabandit, Director of the Dhammaduta College, graciously welcomed a delegation of monks and nuns from Chung Tai Chan Monastery, Republic of China, at the meeting room of the Dhammaduta College and the International Relations Division, Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University (MCU), Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya.
Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University (MCU) and Chung Tai Chan Monastery have enjoyed a long-standing friendship. This relationship was further solidified through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on November 29, 2022. Since then, both institutions have actively collaborated to promote Buddhist education, dissemination, and preservation.
The monastic delegation from Chung Tai Chan Monastery comprised Venerable Master Jian Mian, Venerable Master Xing Zhen, and Venerable Master Xing Ming from the monks’ community, and Venerable Master Jian Pi, Venerable Master Jian Bo, Venerable Master Jian Yong, Venerable Master Jian Jun, Venerable Master Jian Fu, Venerable Master Jian Xun, Venerable Master Jian Ai, Venerable Master Jian Yang, Venerable Master Jian Gui, and Venerable Master Jian Wen from the Bhikkhunis’ community. They traveled from Taiwan to pay a courtesy visit to the Vice-Rector for Foreign Affairs at MCU.
During the meeting, the monastic delegation engaged in a lively exchange of ideas and inquiries about Buddhist studies and Vipassana meditation practices at MCU. They expressed great interest in learning and practicing Vipassana meditation. Additionally, the delegation extended an invitation to the Vice-Rector for Foreign Affairs to visit Chung Tai Chan Monastery in Taiwan to further strengthen their enduring relationship and enhance future collaboration.
