วันจันทร์ที่ ๒๐ มกราคม พ.ศ.๒๕๖๘ เวลา ๑๒.๔๕ น. พระพรหมวัชรธีราจารย์ อธิการบดี มจร รับการถวายกัปปิยภัณฑ์จำนวน ๖๐๐,๐๐๐ บาท (หกแสนบาทถ้วน) จาก พระธรรมาจารย์เจี้ยนหวิ่น ในนามคณะสงฆ์วัดจงไถซาน สาธารณรัฐจีน เพื่อเป็นทุนสนับสนุนทุนการศึกษาแก่นิสิตภูฏาน ศึกษาวิชาการด้านพระพุทธศาสนา ณ มจร
สืบเนื่องจาก พระมหาสุรศักดิ์ ปจฺจนฺตเสโน รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายกิจการต่างประเทศ และ รศ.ดร.สุรพล สุยะพรหม รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายกิจการทั่วไป มจร เข้าถวายสักการะ His Eminence the Most Venerable Sangay Dorji, Chairman, Monastic Council for Administration & Development Affairs. Central Monastic Body of the Kingdom of Bhutan. เมื่อวันที่ ๑๙ มิถุนายน ที่ผ่านมา ณ สำนักงานสมเด็จพระสังฆราช นครทิมพู ประเทศภูฏาน การนี้ พระเดชพระคุณรองสมเด็จพระสังฆราช เมตตาปรารภขอให้ มจร ถวายทุนการศึกษาแก่ พระสงฆ์ภูฏาน เพื่อศึกษาวิชาการด้านพระพุทธศาสนา ณ มจร
ต่อมา รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายกิจการต่างประเทศ ได้ปรารภเรื่องนี้ กับทานบดีทั้ง ๓ ท่าน ได้แก่ พระธรรมาจารย์เจี้ยนหวิ่น ดร.เดชา เดชนที และนายเชาวฤทธิ์ หวังประกอบกุล ทานบดีผู้มีเกียรติทั้งสาม เจริญศรัทธารับเป็นเจ้าภาพถวายการอุปถัมภ์ทุนการศึกษาตลอดหลักสูตร แก่พระสงฆ์ภูฏาน ๓ ทุน ประกอบด้วย ปริญญาเอก ๑ ทุน ปริญญาโท ๑ ทุน และปริญญาตรี ๑ ทุน รวมเป็นเงินทั้งสิ้น ๑,๑๔๖,๐๐๐ บาท (หนึ่งล้านหนึ่งแสนสี่หมื่นหกพันบาทถ้วน) ทุนการศึกษาจำนวนดังกล่าวนี้ รวมค่าลงทะเบียนเรียน ค่าโดยสารเครื่องบินระหว่างประเทศ ค่าที่พัก ค่าใช้จ่ายประจำเดือน
การนี้ วัดจงไถซาน เป็นเจ้าภาพถวายทุนการศึกษาจำนวน ๖๐๐,๐๐๐ บาท (หกแสนบาทถ้วน) ดร. เดชา เดชนที ธรรมทูตคฤหัสถ์เกียรติคุณ เป็นเจ้าภาพถวายทุนการศึกษาจำนวน ๓๐๐,๐๐๐ บาท (สามแสนบาทถ้วน) และนายเชาวฤทธิ์ หวังประกอบกุล พร้อมด้วยบิดามารดาและครอบครัว เป็นเจ้าภาพถวายทุนการศึกษาจำนวน ๓๐๐,๐๐๐ บาท (สามแสนบาทถ้วน)
ทั้งนี้ มี H.E. Mr.Kinzang Dorji, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Bhutan to Thailand and Permanent Representative of UNESCAP ฯพณฯ เอกอัครราชทูตภูฏาน ประจำประเทศไทย ให้เกียรติเป็นสักขีพยาน ในโครงการอุปถัมภ์ทุนการศึกษาแก่นิสิตภูฏานฯ
On Monday, January 20, 2025, at 12:45 PM, Phra Brahmavachirathiracharn, Rector of MCU, graciously received a donation of 600,000 THB (Six Hundred Thousand Baht) from Venerable Dharma Master Jian Hui, on behalf of the monastic community of Chung Tai Chan Monastery, Republic of China. This contribution is dedicated to supporting scholarships for Bhutanese students pursuing Buddhist studies at MCU.
Following the visit of Ven. Maha Surasak Pacchanteseno, Vice-Rector for Foreign Affairs, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Surapol Suyaprom, Vice-Rector for General Affairs of MCU, to pay respects to His Eminence the Most Venerable Sangay Dorji, Chairman of the Monastic Council for Administration & Development Affairs, Central Monastic Body of the Kingdom of Bhutan, on June 19, 2024, at the Office of the Supreme Patriarch in Thimphu, Bhutan, His Eminence expressed his kind wish for MCU to offer scholarships to Bhutanese monastic students to pursue Buddhist studies at MCU.
Subsequently, the Vice-Rector for Foreign Affairs presented this matter to three esteemed benefactors:
1.Ven. Master Jian Hui,
2.Dr. Decha Dechnatee, and
3.Mr. Chaowarit Wangprakobkul.
With deep faith and generosity, they committed to fully sponsoring three scholarships for Bhutanese monastic students, covering one doctoral, one master’s, and one bachelor’s degree, totaling 1,146,000 THB (One Million One Hundred Forty-Six Thousand Baht). This amount includes tuition fees, international airfare, accommodation, and monthly living expenses.
The scholarships were made possible through the following contributions:
•Chung Tai Chan Monastery contributed 600,000 THB (Six Hundred Thousand Baht),
•Dr. Decha Dechnatee, an honorary lay missionary, contributed 300,000 THB (Three Hundred Thousand Baht), and
•Mr. Chaowarit Wangprakobkul, along with his parents and family, contributed 300,000 THB (Three Hundred Thousand Baht).
This significant initiative was honored by the presence of H.E. Mr. Kinzang Dorji, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Bhutan to Thailand and Permanent Representative of UNESCAP, who attended as an esteemed witness to this Bhutanese Scholarship Sponsorship Program.
