พระธรรมาจารย์เจี้ยนหวิ่น เจ้าอาวาสวัดจงไถซาน กรุงเทพมหานคร พร้อมด้วยพระธรรมาจารย์เจี้ยนเฉิน พระธรรมาจารย์เจี้ยนฉิว พระธรรมาจารย์เจี้ยนเหมี่ยน พระธรรมาจารย์เจี้ยนจิ้น และคณะกรรมการบริหารวัดจงไถซาน มีความสนใจประวัติศาสตร์ พัฒนาการและความเจริญรุ่งเรืองของพระพุทธศาสนาเถรวาท มหายาน วัชรยานและศาสนาฮินดูในภาคพื้นอุษาอาคเนย์ จากอดีตสู่ปัจจุบัน
นับแต่มหาวิทยาลัยมหาจุฬาลงกรณราชวิทยาลัยและวัดจงไถซาน ได้เจริญสัมพันธไมตรีต่อกัน โดยลงนามบันทึกข้อตกลงความร่วมมือ (MoU) กัน เมื่อวันที่ ๒๙ พฤศจิกายน ๒๕๖๕ จากนั้น มจร และวัดจงไถซาน ได้ร่วมกันทำงานส่งเสริมการศึกษา การเผยแผ่พระพุทธศาสนาและการทำนุบำรุงพระพุทธศาสนามาตามลำดับ
โครงการทัศนศึกษาศิลปวัฒนธรรมและศึกษาประวัติศาสตร์พระพุทธศาสนาในอุษาคเนย์ นี้ จัดโดยวิทยาลัยพระธรรมทูตและกองวิเทศสัมพันธ์ ร่วมกับวัดจงไถซาน กรุงเทพมหานคร ระหว่างวันที่ ๓-๔ มกราคม ๒๕๖๘ ณ อุทยานประวัติศาสตร์พิมาย และ อุทยานประวัติศาสตร์พนมรุ้ง และ วันที่ ๕-๗ มกราคม ๒๕๖๘ ณ ปราสาทนครวัด ปราสาทนครธม ปราสาทบันทายศรี ปราสาทพระขรรค์ ปราสาทตาพรหม พนมบาเค็ง แห่ง ราชอาณาจักรกัมพูชา
วันเดียวกันนี้ รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายกิจการต่างประเทศ ได้นำคณะผู้บริหารวิทยาลัยพระธรรมทูต ศูนย์อาเซียนศึกษาและกองวิเทศสัมพันธ์ เข้าถวายสักการะ Samdach Preah Brahmaratanamuni PIN-SEM Siresuvanno Supreme Advisor of Board Sangha Committee, Sangha House Theravada member of Cambodian Buddhism เพื่อเจริญสัมพันธไมตรี

On Monday, January 6, 2025, at 3:30 PM, Venerable Phramaha Surasak Paccantaseno, Vice-Rector for Foreign Affairs and Acting Director of the Bharat Studies Center, Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University (MCU), along with Venerable Master Jian Hui, Abbot of Chung Tai Chan Monastery, Bangkok, led a delegation of executives from Dhammatuda College, the ASEAN Studies Center, and the International Relations Division, as well as the executive committee of Chung Tai Chan Monastery, to visit Preah Khan Temple in Angkor Thom, Kingdom of Cambodia.
The delegation’s visit was part of an effort to strengthen diplomatic ties and cultivate relationships with the Cambodian Sangha. In addition, the group engaged in a study tour focused on the cultural heritage and historical development of Theravāda, Mahāyāna, Vajrayāna Buddhism, and Brahmanic-Hindu traditions in Southeast Asia, spanning from the past to the present. This initiative took place from January 5 to 7, 2025.
The delegation, led by Venerable Master Jian Hui, included Venerable Master Jian Chen, Venerable Master Jian Qiu,Venerable Master Jian Mian, Venerable Master Jian Jin, and members of the executive committee from Chung Tai Chan Monastery. They share a deep interest in the history, development, and flourishing of Theravāda, Mahāyāna, Vajrayāna Buddhism, and Hinduism in Southeast Asia.
Since the formalization of their relationship on November 29, 2022, through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), MCU and Chung Tai Chan Monastery have continued to collaborate in promoting Buddhist education, dissemination, and preservation of the Buddha’s teachings.
The study tour, focusing on the art, culture, and historical development of Buddhism in Southeast Asia, was jointly organized by Dhammatuda College, the International Relations Division, and Chung Tai Chan Monastery. The trip began on January 3-4, 2025, with visits to the Phimai Historical Park and Phanom Rung Historical Park in Thailand. From January 5-7, 2025, the delegation explored the temples of Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, Banteay Srei, Preah Khan, Ta Prohm, and Phnom Bakheng in Cambodia.
On the same day, Venerable Phramaha Surasak Paccantaseno, Vice-Rector for Foreign Affairs, led the delegation to pay respects to Samdech Preah Brahmaratanamuni Pin-Sem Siresuvanno, Supreme Advisor of the Board of the Sangha Committee and a Theravāda monk of Cambodian Buddhism, to further strengthen diplomatic ties and goodwill.
The delegation was also accompanied by Phra Khru Sutaratanabundit, Director of the Dhammaduta College; Venerable Phramaha Jirawat Kantavano, Director of the ASEAN Studies Center; Venerable Phramaha Kosol Thirapanjo, Director of the International Relations Division; Mr. Thanin Meas, International Relations Officer; and Ms. Paweena Singkhankha, International Relations Officer of MCU. Their participation enriched the success of this meaningful journey.
