โอกาสนี้ พระธรรมาจารย์ จงซิ่ง (Zong Xing) รองประธานพุทธสมาคมจีน และ พระธรรมาจารย์ ซื่อ ฉางจ้าง (Shi Chan Zang) รองประธานพุทธสมาคมจีน เจ้าอาวาสวัดหลิงกวง กรุงปักกิ่ง สาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน และคณะต้อนรับพระบรมสารีริกธาตุ (พระเขี้ยวแก้ว) กลับสาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน อาราธนาอธิการบดีและรองอธิการบดี เดินทางเยือนมหานครปักกิ่ง เพื่อเจริญสัมพันธไมตรี ให้แน่นแฟ้นสืบไป ฯ
On Friday, February 14, 2025, at 1:45 PM, Most Ven. Prof. Dr. Phra Brahmawatcharatheeracharn, Rector of Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University (MCU), together with Venerable Phramaha Surasak Paccantaseno, Vice Rector for Foreign Affairs, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Surapol Suyaphrom, Vice Rector for General Affairs, extended a warm welcome and delivered a Dhamma discourse to Venerable Master Zong Xing, Vice President of the Buddhist Association of China, and Venerable Master Shi Chan Zang, Vice President of the Buddhist Association of China and Abbot of Lingguang Monastery, Beijing, People’s Republic of China. They were accompanied by Mr. Huang Zhihui, Director-General of the General Bureau of National Religious Affairs Administration, along with the delegation responsible for escorting the Sacred Buddha Relic (Sacred Tooth Relic) back to the People’s Republic of China. The event took place at the Phra Ratcharattanamoli Building, MCU, Ayutthaya.
On this occasion, Venerable Phramaha Surasak Paccantaseno, Chairman of the Reception and Coordination Committee for the Sacred Buddha Relic Escort Ceremony, presented a formal report to the Rector and introduced the MCU executives to the esteemed guests.
During the gathering, Venerable Master Zong Xing and Venerable Master Shi Chan Zang, along with the Chinese delegation, extended a formal invitation to the Rector and Vice Rector to visit Beijing to further strengthen the spiritual and academic ties between MCU and Buddhist institutions in China.
